Vincenzo Calla announces the newest project for VCalla Productions

Nepean, ON – Today on MPP Lisa MacLeod’s podcast “LMAC Today,” Vincenzo Calla, Creator of VCalla Productions and proud, lifelong resident of Barrhaven, announced his newest project titled “Building Barrhaven: The History Behind One of Canada’s Fastest Growing Communities.”
“Building Barrhaven” will be a brand new podcast launching in Winter 2025 and a book launching in Fall 2025 that will be researching and compiling the history of Barrhaven.
There is currently no compiled history of Barrhaven, a community that has grown extensively since the 1960s, becoming the “mini city” of over 100,000 it is today. Through this project, Vincenzo plans to speak with community leaders and business owners past and present, many of his neighbours across Barrhaven, and conduct research through archives and other historical sources in order to take the living history of this community and bring those stories together through his upcoming podcast and book.
“Barrhaven is my home, it’s where I was raised, it’s where I went to school, it’s where I shop, it’s where I have met the most important people in my life and formed some of my best memories. I have a passion for the place, the people, and the stories. Everywhere I look around in this community, it was built by the hard work of the people that turned this farming community into a mini-city of 100,000+ people. That’s why I am proud to be launching this project and bringing the stories of this community together.
